Dinner turned out great!

Mr. B. loved the salad - all those childhood days spent in Mexico might have added to his jimaca love. He was happy to even see it on his plate as jimaca is not a usual food around the house.

Happy to hear things worked out well. One of my favourite jicama concotions is a simple combination of grated jicama, fresh lime juice, olive oil, and fresh chilis.

what does jicama taste like? Ive seen it in all the spanish food sections and weve never tried it for anything. It sorta reminds me of a turnip

I dunno, to me, fresh jicama is sort of a cross between daikon and water chestnut. Very refreshing.
