The Sorrows of Empire : Militarism, Secrecy, and the End of the Republic

by Chalmers Johnson.

It looks quite good. I'm leaving for the book store right now. I plan on reading this book, and if it meets my expectations, I will send a copy to McGentrix as an early Christmas present.

I also might send a copy to Sofia.

This site is all about giving and sharing, isn't it.

Here are some reviews on the aforementioned book, for those who are even slightly interested....

I think it's worth a peek

Gus- I am totally shocked. When I clicked on your link, I totally expected either a risque picture, or an apparition screaming at me. I have sorely underestimated you.

Sounds like an interesting read.

Indeed it does, Phoenix. Even more interesting to read shall be McGentrix'z reply to it.

Of course I can, Slappy.

After I finish The Sorrows of Empire : Militarism, Secrecy, and the End of the Republic, I plan on digesting this tome....

It deals with the complexities of pig/ghost relationships and
the author offers an interesting perspective on this timeless phenomenon.

Promises to be scintillating.
