Help Finding Value and Identity of this Painting?

Hello,

I'm trying to figure out who the artist of this painting might have been, as well as any idea of it's value. There is no signature. It is 3 ft by 6 ft on an half an inch thick piece of glass. It has been presumed to be done in oil paint.

Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

From the 10ft range it looks well painted. Acrylic?

Kind of looks like a commissioned piece in a community college or city hall/public building, based on local history and geography.

Signiture? Date? Maybe a photo of a back corner stretcher, any notes, tags?

I looked, and the photobucket site scared me, and I'm an oldtime photobucket user. A surprise, as I usually look only on my own photobucket, and copy and paste it as needed after resiszing..

The page gave me the creeps and I didn't bother looking at the painting, if that was a painting.

The painting seems well done but whole thing seem "static" to me. Its kind of an 80's -90's "civic" style. There are a lot of murals from then that look stylistically like it. Its more a decoration than art to me.

I suspect it was a panel in a wall of painted glass panels. Maybe salvaged from some empty store front.
