I issued a print command of a large MS Word file. How do I cancel it?

@gollum,
I use Windows 7 and a lower level of Word, but I am fairly sure you can go to whatever they now call 'Device Manager' and cancel it there.

@roger,
roger-

I went to Device Manager and found:

Accessibility features in Word

Microsoft Word 2013 includes features that make the software accessible to a wider range of users, including those who have limited dexterity, low vision, or other disabilities.

The Accessibility Checker helps you identify and resolve accessibility issues in your files. To learn more, see Accessibility Checker.

What do you want to do?

Use keyboard shortcuts

Set size and zoom options

Set color and sound options

Add or remove items in the Quick Access Toolbar

Collect and paste items among Office programs

@gollum,
Sorry. I guess they have "improved" things since my operating system.

@gollum,
Open your printer queue (not connected to MS Word) in device manager and delete it there.

Right click on the image of the printer in upper right corner or lower corner.

Go into print jobs and hit "cancel job"

@engineer,
engineer-

Thank you.

How do I get to the Printer queue? I looked for a printer icon at the bottom right but I don't find it.

@gollum,
Go to Control Panel, look for Printers, open the correct printer and it should show the print queue. Your printer may also have a delete button on it.
