Facebook mobile swipe-to-hide notifications???

My friend has an iphone 6 with current facebook mobile app (version 51.0) and she can swipe left to hide notifications on the notifications tab. When I swipe left on my notifications tab on mobile app on my iphone 6s plus, it goes to who's on chat. Any idea on how that is possible on mobile app???
