Model Number ESD 2502R39

My water softener stopped in the brine fill stage last night. The brine tank filler to the top and I caught it in the morning. The "Recharge Now" message was flashing and I pressed the recharge button to advance the cam. All I got where three beeps. Unplugged the unit and replugged. I was able to advance the cam to the beginning through all of the cycles. I tried to start the recharge cycle again, but hung again just past the brine fill.

I removed the time clock and the cam was free to turn. Cleaned a little corrosion off the cam restarted and the same thing happened. Once it threw an Error4 code. Anyone know that that means? I replaced the micro switch a while back and the rotor wheel as well. The electric motor works fine.
