Can a defender grab the arm of the running back that does not have the ball in it and try to inflict injury to the off-arm in an attempt to get the running back to fumble the ball due to the infliction of the pain caused to the arm not holding the ball. It looked like that is what Cam Chandler was attempting to do when Peterson fumbled in the 4rth quarter of the playoff game.
