Will this weekend storm cause flight delays in Boston?

What do you think will this weekend storm be bad enough that flights will be significantly delayed or canceled?

I have family members that are flying this weekend Saturday and want to plan for potential changes.

Also - if they have a non-refundable flight and it is significantly (by say 4 hours or more) delayed - can they get their money back or a credit for a future flight? The trip is just the weekend so if it is delayed at all, it would be better to cancel the whole deal and try to go at another time.

@Linkat,
Storm? Boston?

Oh my gawd, we always get the same thing about a week later.

I will now keep my eye on the forecasts.

@Linkat,

where are they flying from/to?

Logan should be fine, but NYC, philly & DC will have delays and/or cancellations...

@Region Philbis,
Pittsburgh - they are actually allowing some flight changes over the weekend without the normal charges as they expect delays along the east coast. Even in places where the snow is not going to be so bad as they expect resulting delays from places that will be impacted.
