Can I get some help with the book please? I need to get a topic sentence and thesis about how leaders being cruel relates to modern political leaders. I also need to know different things I can talk about for a presentation.

I would use the word 'ruthless' instead of 'cruel'. The results might be the same, but the meaning is not.
