@Pitter,
I'm a dunce re photo ownership. I'd like to see a discussion of it on a2k.

I am keen and have been before re Pitter, but also about any of us who have work to show.

@FBM,
Pitter has been here all along, relatively quiet.

@Pitter,
I really don't know but I saw a girl post some photos taken of her by some one else which she then processed in Photoshop. Photographers on the forum made something of an issue saying they weren't hers since she didn't snap the shutter. That seems reasonable to me. There are actual publication rules but that's information I don't need to know since I only show or post my own pictures. Straying a bit from the subject, what really bothers me is the now accepted practice of pasting those awful "watermarks" on photos and then expecting viewers to pretend it isn't there when viewing. Most of them can be removed in Photoshop anyway.

Re me and photography, I'm known here for having bad eyes, and that has made any of my photos chrystaline only by random chance, though I learned from a good photographer long ago.

I'm not against excellent photos, never, as I am very keen on them, but that isn't the whole photography world, or at least I hope not. It's the money world.

Whatever, I'm a Pitter fan.

@Pitter,
You don't know this about me, so it's not fair to bring up, but..

If I post a photo from my eye on my Nikon and it is not perfect, I'd like not to be judged, except for the usual, composition, and so on.

I'm pissy about all this as I've known good photographers in my childhood and happen to have weird eyes myself, an odd eye thing.

I think vision is more than clarity.
Keep your not so "good" photos.

@ossobuco,
Just leave off the watermark and I won't say a word. Of course if you use a modern camera it will "auto focus" anyway.
