what would be something to bring comfort to a 13 yearold girl that wouldnt be too childish?

Depends on the girl.

Some love stuffed animals. Me? I despised them after the age of 8, and still do (I am 40 years past age 13, BTW).

This is not a generic person so the answer cannot be generic.
