@marksfletchers,
If it isn't perfectly square, it will take a little more to cut around and patch for the obstacles and closet floors. If there is any kind of pattern or texture, it will take a little more to line up the seam edges. You always want a little left over to stick in a closet for if you need to do some repairs for bad stains.
