Hi,

I was over in france in july 2004 in the Poitou - Charenties area and came accross a weird and lovely looking bug..
we were really puzzled as to what it may be...
We dont know so i was wondering if anybody knew here...

Oh, thanks, RP. Well, I don't know, but I'd like to. To me, it looks like some kind of Miridae... (Order Heteroptera, family Miridae) or Plant Bug. "Plant bugs are slender, soft-bodied, shield-shaped, flat-backed insects."

Looking at this post years later, I too wonder what the insect is. The photo is large and one has to scroll horizontally to see it.
