blocking on facebbok

so i blocked a family member on fb (no judging please) & was wondering if there was a way to keep them blocked so that i can change what they see before unblocking them. they get annoying sometimes & i just don't want them to know everything that i post on fb. i also wanted to limit them to what they could see when i unblock them...like old posts, photos, etc...without having to go thru each post. does anyone know if these can be done the way i'm hoping they can or if i in fact have to unblock & then limit? any help is greatly appreciated!!
