Context:

Deforestation Moves to the Fore in Copenhagen

As the Copenhagen climate meeting unfolds
this week, one key topic will be protecting
the world!ˉs tropical rainforests. Deforesta
tion is responsible for between 12% and
25% of the world!ˉs yearly greenhouse ga
emissions. But the 1997 Kyoto agreement,
which runs through 2012, didn!ˉt address th
issue. Participating nations hope to correct
that oversight in the next agreement. !°It i
likely that in Copenhagen the international
community will commit to reducing the
rate of deforestation by a specific amount,
possibly 50% by 2020,!± predicts France
Beinecke of the Natural Resources Defense
Council in Washington, D.C.

@dalehileman,

Yes, "becomes top priority".

and I can't see why they used a capital letter for "fore". They shouldn't.

@McTag,
Sorry Mac but disagree on the cap. As a title it's perfectly okay the way it stands

@dalehileman,

Sorry, my mistake, Dale is right. I didn't check back to notice that this was from a heading.
If I had, I wouldn't have made such a dumbass post. Embarrassed

@McTag,
There's a saying in Korean that goes something like, "Even monkeys sometimes fall from trees."
