I used to talk to this girl I've liked for about a year. We texted and talked daily and hung out a lot. I mad the mistake of asking her out way too soon. But after about of awkwardness we got back to talking/texting daily. But when school approached end this slowly ended. Over the summer Ive attempted to text her 3 times. Every time she read, and ignored. I believe she likes a guy that likes somebody else. With the City Fair coming up next week, was planning on texting her if I could go with her and possibly some of her friends, but not sure if I should because I don't want her to ignore it cause that sort of feels in a lesser way of rejection, you know? So what should I do?

Why would you invite yourself to do something with someone who is already ignoring you?
Time to move on and try to meet someone who's actually interested in you?

Thing is she was interested. So wouldn't I be able to do that again? prob not. Key word: Probably. And I've liked her for a year. If I could get over her would've done so by now.

Wrong. The key word is "was", as in "was interested"
