Dogs and cats at work?

I was watching a Buzzfeed video on pubic hair and I noticed dogs meandering around in the background.

Made me wonder, how many workplace and offices actually allow dogs in their august walls?

Cats are common in bodega here in NYC to help curb potential mice problems. But they're not known to be office dwellers as far as I understand.

Are you allowed to bring pets to your workplace? Do other people bring their pets to work? How is the upkeep? Do people try to keep friendly pets to themselves even if they're not the actual owners?

In both of my (c0-owner) art gallery/studios, we had dogs. In the last one, we had a cat and two turtles too. It helps to be boss. Alas, no fish.

At this point, I'd love a fish tank at my firm's office. Better than no pets at all.

we had an office cat for a while at my second job.

don't think it belonged to anyone in particular.

it was cool having company one hectic weekend when i slept over.

cat was better than an alarm clock -- soon after sunrise it started playing with my sock-clad feet... Smile
