I'm glad I had the chance to meet him in person. A very, very good kid. I miss him already.

Set and I were talking earlier today about the O'Brien books that I learned about from Andy and Dewey (Debacle). I learned about a lot of interesting books and places and people from that duo.

I didn't know you call Debacle 'Dewey' - that's great.

Dewey's his name.

MA reminds us that a life is a grand thing.

Just learned Andy died. I, too, am glad to have met him.

We're lucky because we still have all his old threads and posts.

Andy and Faith visited us in August of 2007. We visited Muir Woods and Sausalito, and was fortunate enough to have taken some pictures of their visit. I will try to post them later on. Gotta figure out how, and that may take awhile.

Forgot to include Golden Gate Park's Japanese Tea Garden.

A year today.

Lots of good merry, lustige memories.

It would have been one of life's high honors to have met him.

He was a legend and missed by everyone here everyday.

My wife and I were able to spend some time with Andy and Faith when they visited us on the West Coast around San Francisco. We visited Marin County across the Golden Gate Bridge, Sausalito for lunch, and Muir Redwood Park. Muir Woods National Monument

I was fortunate to meet him. He was instantly likable and always interesting.

He got all excited when he found out that some of my family was from Riga, Latvia. "Lantzman (sp?)" he shouted.
