Why does it seem like I'm getting jammed??

I had a game today in my 18 and over baseball league; we use wood bats. I noticed that every ball I made contact with felt like it was struck toward the handle of the bat. Never had this problem...Anyone have advice on how to fix this?

Tell the pitchers to stop pitching you inside. Also you can stand a little back off the plate a bit and/or bring your hands in a little.
