In my opinion, it should be without any consequences after ... let's say ... a two-day-period.
Before only for a few seconds, on a trial basis, and not put into writing - perhaps then just a venial sin.
What do you think?

Is it a mortal sin to hope that certain individuals do not return? Not at all, and in fact would be a sign of good mental health.
I have to echo setanta. Unless I am the one that is not going to be missed.
