Could This Miniature Be By JWM Turner Or William Turner It's French & Signed To Back Looks Like

Well here's another from my collection. This one is somewhat of a guess again but at least it has a more readable signature. It's a miniature painting on porcelain and in a beautiful gold gilt French frame. It looks to be signed either JWM Turner or Wm Turner I can't quite make the first few letters out. But in any case a lovely mid 1850's (my guess) miniature. Anyone have any idea what the value could be? I know if a Turner or at least a JWM Turner could be quite rare and William right behind. Thanks.

@artluver,
obviously the finishing nails are recent. It looks more like a portrait on a ceramic ground. These were popular means of making personal mementos of a person who ha gone or had dies.

Im not fmiliar with JWM Turner (Im sure the name is searcheable), the one we know is JMW Turner and did do some portraits but is known for his new style of seeing the world in an abstract fshion.

The gilt frame is interesting and depending where you are, itd be orth a trip to a known conservatory lb (Im familir with the WInterthur Foundation), Its part of the University of Delaware and the Winterthur museum. They have experts galore n every aspect of decortive art and antiques.
They also have one of those confocal Xrays that can see beneath a surface painting.

@farmerman,
I'm a bit dyslexic sorry about getting his name wrong. Yes the frame is a beauty. I call it D3....heh ...I mean 3D, with it's lovely branches coming right out at you. Thanks for letting me know about the conservatory. I have a few more works to post one looks like Jackson Pollock no joke (you know the ones recently found by a friend) right down to almost the exact same frame and says the artist reserves the right and the other is a happy old drunk hugging a wine bottle and just very old but no signature.

Its French and on ceramic with a beautiful frame. Its neither Turner, because its French and on ceramic. Maybe worth $1,000, more if it is attributable and if the subject were identified. Its very nice and very well painted.
