@maxdancona,
If I am not mistaken pantheism is a modern word.

Panthea is the way the ancient Greeks would have said the word.

I don't believe the Greeks had "isms".

There is a slight difference between panthea and pantheism.

A panthea is actually a singular word that describes a theistic group of (higher power) characters that surround a reality..

It comes from only two not three parts of a word.

pan + theo

Pantheism is the art of making a cloud of deisms from an archetype.

Panthea implies an original body of rulers uncorrupted by the ISM part.

Comment:
Take it with a grain of salt and skepticism

I might add that were it not for the Khazars of the past, the religiously varied/diverse world we know of today would not exist.

There would be a one religion world.

It is the Khazars that preserved the "many" world orders.

I like living in a world were there are many religions and one religion is not used to usurp all culture and social strata.

So the religions fight each other and a force bent on preserving them both profits from their innate religious hatred and bigotry.

I say it is a befitting fate for religious zealots to be sold out by their own trusted friends.

Ask Julius Caesar about friends... Smile

I have always had a deep respect for the Khazars.

I sometimes wonder if the Kabala, chess, playing cards, tarot, etc are from Khazaria

I also wonder if the Tales of the Arabian Nights (One Thousand and One Nights) also came from Khazaria.

Also the renaissance was probably fostered by the land of the Khazars.

Well, aside from the main meaning of panthea as the genus of the owlet moth, the theological reference is the PLURAL of pantheon. When I look up pantheism, I don't find either.

@TheCobbler,
Are you saying the fact it is wrong to kill someone for homosexual activity is proof that the homosexual lifestyle is OK?

@neologist,
If you do not think homosexual activity is okay then don't do it...

Homosexual activity is no different than heterosexual activity...

LGBT and straight people kiss, they have sex (in every conceivable position), they even sit on the couch eating popcorn and watch movies and they go on with their daily lives.

Is this the activity you speak of?

There is no activity in the homosexual domain that is not also be performed in the heterosexual domain.

But I don't hear you complaining about heterosexual sodomy...

That in itself speaks volumes.

I'm sorry if I did not make myself clear. But it seemed to me that Cobble was offering his link in support of the gay lifestyle.

Just my hard headed bigoted irrational personality, I guess.

Actually, heterosexual sodomy is also sinful. And, BTW, the scriptures do not seem to indicate gradations of sin.

If you commit murder, you sin.
If you cheat on your taxes, you sin.
If you pilfer pennies, you sin.
If you are prone to unrestrained anger, you sin.
I have a problem controlling my egotism.

So, I will not condemn you for anything. Whatever it is, it's between you and God.

Judging from some pictures, Jesus was evidently homosexual...
