Suzy, sometimes the oddest things happen to me. I was hosting a thread about bad/good endings in movies, and heard this on TV, and saw it on Yahoo. Stunned me.

Good grief. Watched the president rallying the state side troops earlier. As lionZyon would say, "The irony of it all."

Just read a similar post in the political category. People never cease to amaze me.

Incidentally, as of this point, there is no official confirmation of Turner's death, but I haven't been glued to the TV set.
