Hard beating pulse when sleeping

Does anyone else have this problem? I can feel my pulse beating in my neck, like it's beating really hard. I've also had a couple times when I woke up and my heart was beating really really fast, scared the crap out of me, but I didn't panick to make it worse. The hard pulse beating feeling doesn't happen everytime I sleep, but happens 2, 3 times a week lately. I just wore a heart monitor from the hospital for 48 hours, but of course I didn't have it happen then. Just wondering if anyone else has this problem and knows what it is.

@jec7074,
I don't have such problem like you, But, you'd better go to hospital to take examination.

Stress can make that happen.

But tell your Dr. that you need a longer monitoring time. You want him to see what's going on when this happens.
