Please note that hits was a Yahoo! default. Rhys did not add it, he just did
not realize it was there.

I just sat down with Rhys to try to fix the NA problem.

No luck. It just keeps giving us incomprehensible errors.

We also took a look at removing hits as a category, but those are fixed
once the draft has completed.

Sorry about that, gang. We'll have to check the settings more carefully
next time.

@Gargamel,
We've had hits as a category before in the past. It's not redundant with BA. But you will want to target lead off hitters.

I feel bad for Mesoraco. He was wonderful last year (I think I had him most of the year, but who remembers this stuff?)
I'm betting he'll be facing surgery soon.

I'm watching ESPN Sportscenter this morning, and the highlights of Chris Archer's outstanding complete game shutout yesterday. So I think to myself, "Hmm, isn't Chris Archer on my fantasy team?"

And then I think: "What are the odds that I forgot to check my lineup yesterday, and Archer is the ONE active pitcher I left sitting on my bench." Naaah ... that would be crazy.

@Ticomaya,
It's usually me that does that... then next time he pitches, he has an unusually bad game.

"The Rappin' Rednecks vs. The Evil Hippie" makes a great title for a B movie.

@fbaezer,
The Evil Hippie is scullduggerous, while being master of the universe.

Hi, Baez. I miss our somehow being able to talk now, or if not able, talking seems not very available, disjointed. On the other hand, that can be from my antique iMac, others may be talking and I miss all that. Yahoo has tossed me around in the last year, cutting out many of my email contacts, for example, but now, months later, the contacts are back. Weird. All of that is related to having an old computer, so I'm not the only person in the world dealing with that.

I stand ready to insult you. Oh, wait..

@ossobuco,
It's not just you. Yahoo! has "improved" smack talk out.

It should be noted, for the record, that Yahoo!'s step backward with the smack- talk functionality has in no way diminished fbaezer's elite smack talking abilities.

Seeing that the flow of results is no longer visible to us peasants, how is the competition going?

@Ragman,
Evil Hippie and the Terrible Troglodytes are vying for the Championship

Mmm, you're vying with Frozen Rope in the Consolation group..

Are you sure you can't see it? Did you look at the League page?
http://baseball.fantasysports.yahoo.com/b1/100726/9 Here's your page for today.. (if the link shows up)

I'm not clear if it counts...

@ossobuco,
I don't know of any activity possible since that constellation group was formed. It seems to be a non-operative for me..maybe others? no idea how it might work if it even does work.

@Ragman,
I don't know (I'll probably need a consultation) - it seems more confusing than it used to be. Or maybe I misremember.

I do know that Fbaezer won against the sandy dogs yesterday, that trickster!

Just go to your team page same way you did all season.

@George,
I did...(if you're addressing it to me) and I see nothing changed in 3 weeks.

(Edit: OK..I lied. I now see the changes and the playoff games that have been played as well as the Consolation bracket. I gave up 3 weeks ago, thinking it was over and not knowing what was involved in participation when I saw the Bye round - not knowing that I had to do anything. I assumed it was over. Oh well.

@Ragman,
That page I linked had today's date on it..

and here you are in week 25 (this one) http://baseball.fantasysports.yahoo.com/b1/100726/matchup?week=25&mid1=3&mid2=9

In my case, I've no one to play matchup with, so I'll not play.

I'll likely end up as #12, out of the original ten of us.
