any ideas on questions 25, 38 and 50 hints on all the rest if needed

Wish I did, benattod! I still have twelve gaps, including those three. If you could put me out of my misery with hints for 8 - how far back should I go for the Foreign Secretary? - and 12 I'd be very grateful.

Very subtle hint for 12 it follows the Good Bad pattern and a coloured stone. I've still got 12 gaps though.
