@gungasnake,
Guy's saying that the food in Arizona prisons is better than the **** that American school kids are eating, thanks to Mike Obunga.

I remember when I was in elementary school, they once tried to serve us hot dogs that were a mix of 50% normal color and 50% green. When kids complained, we were all told that it was OK and to just eat it.

Some of the kids did as they were told and got sick, but I flat out told them no. And they already knew me enough by then that they knew they had no hope of browbeating me into following the herd, so they didn't bother pressuring me any further.

There were some outraged parents regarding the sick kids. And although I didn't understand it at the time, looking back now I think there might have been a financial settlement paid.

I've no idea what the green stuff was, but I'm sure glad I'm impervious to social pressure. Yuck!

(No kids died or anything. I think they were only sick for a few hours, or maybe a day or so.)

As a kid, and not one of the kids who got sick, I was shielded from whatever was going on with the adults.

All I got were tidbits of gossip from other kids, like "so and so's parents are really mad" and "the school/food service is in trouble over this".

I don't think my parents were involved, since I wasn't one of the ones who got sick.

The good news: Some of the victims of Mike Obunga's school lunch program will be voting in 2016.
