Help me identify the painter of this vintage oil canvas.

The lady said her grandmother purchased this painting in Europe. Can anybody tell me anything about the painter or the painting. It is signed: C. Mendoza '66 with IIIANILA underneath that. 25" x 18" inside the frame. I apologize for the low quality pics. Colors and lineation are much more vivid than shown here. It appears to be an oriental still life. The roses especially appear to extend off the canvas. Rather fetching.
