How would you go about deleting a post older than ten minutes, and somebody else's post as well, because that's what I've been accused of, and I wouldn't know where to start.
I believe only the administrator is capable of deleting another's post. I know I have tried to delete a post after it was posted for a certain amount of time but were unable to do so. Within 5 ~ 10 minutes, one may delete one's own post.

We do not know just how old "baldy" is, but sometimes at a certain advanced age one's memory may play tricks on one, i.e., one may become confused when one is so sure one is right.

@korkamann,
I'm 41 and I work in the IT field, unless you work in the same field that I do, I'm pretty sure I know more about this stuff then you do, why do you think I asked if he had admin permissions?

Did you try the search that I recommended or are you just going to talk smack? How about giving it a try and then get back to me.

And you can't do it. I don't work in the IT field, I haven't got a bloody clue. The fact is you're wrong about something, a lot of things actually, most things in fact. You can't accept it so you come out with this delusional nonsense. It's pathetic. You're pathetic.

@korkamann,
Baldy is definitely delusional, whether it's because of early onset Alzheimer's or because he would rather cocoon himself away from reality is anyone's guess.

He's very certain about things though, and that is a sign of dementia. I've had dealings with dementia sufferers, and one thing they don't have is doubt. If you have a couple where one of them is suffering from dementia it tends to be the other one who thinks they have it.

I know this from personal experience, my wife died just over ten years ago, about the same age Baldy is now. Cancerous cells got into her spinal fluid and put pressure on her brain. She accused me of all sorts of lies and deception, and if it hadn't been for my twelve year old daughter I would have doubted my sanity. Some stuff was easy to dismiss, about imagined relatives, but other stuff, about what just happened, things like that, not so much, especially when the person you're dealing with vehemently insists they're right.

Bobsal engages in childish name-calling because he has nothing worthwhile to contribute to a thread.

I was suspended on Friday. I didn't get back on until Sunday afternoon GMT.

Are you sure you were suspended and it wasn't just a bug in the programming? Twice, once last year, and once this year, I was unable to login for at least 24 hrs. I contacted a2k managers and the problem was soon resolved. Did you receive an e-mail from someone informing you that you had been "suspended"?

Bobsal, izzythepush, and me were all jointly suspended for a week.

The reason for our joint suspension was their unprovoked name-calling against me, and my retaliation in kind against them. The moderators seem to have decided that they've had enough of all the name-calling.

Perhaps. Perhaps not. We'll see what the higher-level courts have to say about it.

Republicans passed the 1964 Civil Rights Act, not the Dems. You guys will do anything to rewrite history won't you.

We wouldn't want to rewrite history, would we Baldimo?

It was bipartisan. Neither party had enough votes to pass it alone. While the Republicans contributed a larger percentage of their voting block, they didn't contribute the largest number of votes for the measure.
