@cicerone imposter,
It doesn't take long for atropy to set in, does it? And if the hospital food there is anything like what I've experienced, they're basically putting patients on a weight loss program, anyway. Blerg.

While you're in there, how about asking them to explain why they make patients wear hospital gowns that bare their asses? Demand a logical explanation, please. I'm itching to see what they say.

@FBM,
I found the answer on the net; it's because the patient needs to toilet in bed.
Also learned that they are now producing "regular" gowns. Makes sense because not all patients need that.

@cicerone imposter,
Makes sense to just give them to people who need them. Here in Korea, you get pajamas unless there's a reason you (or someone else) needs quick access to the back door.

@cicerone imposter,
I know just what you mean. After I got out of a three week hospitalization in '07, I saw my naked butt in the mirror. Looked like two little bags of fat hanging down.

@FBM,
We usually have our private pyjamas here, besides after an operation.

@Walter Hinteler,
Feb 2, 2015,
Good news; I'm finally home.
Let me just say for now, that it was an experience being treated at this gold rated hospital, the Santa Clara Kaiser. I'll try to summarize at a later date, but don't hold your breath.
I'm now happy as a claim. There's always bad news, and that is I'm beginning my road to dementia. It's really frustrating when I can remember almost everything else about my life. I've also had many aha moments; it gave me insight into my own life.

Thanks to all of your support and love shown during my ordeal. That was greatly appreciated.

ciao for now.

@cicerone imposter,
Hi Tak,

So glad to see the good news. Wishing you the very best. I'm glad you got such good treatment; however, be it ever so humble, there's no place like home!

I got an email from c.i.'s email account, saying that his computer was hacked, and he doesn't have access to A2K now (???). He'll be back, when he gets a new computer.

Heard from Tak tonight.

"After my bout with the Spanish Inquisition, I'm on the slow road to recovery; all while have many ups and downs. You may share this info on a2k if you wish."

@Walter Hinteler,
We got an iMac, but I'm still using our computer in our our son's (non-occupied) bedroom. The new computer is sitting in my office, but it's not that easy to navigate through all that 'new stuff' at my age. LOL Prolly take about a month or so to get accustomed to it. Also, I have a an iPhone that I really love, because I use it to remind me of all the meds I have to take throughout the day. Without it, I'd be lost.
