@Kolyo,
You know, we all have those aha moments. It took me over 50 years to today to realize why the USAF assigned me to work with nukes. I never thought of myself as being too bright, because I almost flunked high school, and yet worked with nukes - as a team leader.

@cicerone imposter,
Well, you're certainly not expendable here! I'm so glad to hear you're improving and get to go home!

Home. The best place to be. Smile

@cicerone imposter,
Cicerone Imposter, the Humanist. Good morning, my fellow poster. I have just read your thread regarding your health. I'm sorry to hear you are unwell, but hopefully, you're now on the way to a speedy recovery. You are such a wonderful, knowledgeable poster, so always alert, sporting your universal love of humanity.......I feel honored to have encountered someone like you and would not have you any other way.

Take care, my friend.

@Moment-in-Time,
It will not be speedy, but all the signs of recovery are promising.
Thank you.
I'm now able to walk the halls of the hospital, and can see the progress every day - more often and more briskly.

@cicerone imposter,
I received my second chemo today, and the docs extended my stay at this hotel Ritz for another day. I'm really anxious to go home.
BTW, I must acknowledge my wife, who has devoted herself for my recovery. It was really helpful that she's an RN. She translated every thing, and communicated with all the doctors and nurses. She informed me when she disagreed with a doctor or nurse's instruction or opinion. She reconfirmed orders for drugs or treatment. There have been many conflicting orders between a doctor and nurse, and we had to tell the nurse to reconfirm the doctor's order. This happened quite often. It's understandable, because they care for so many patients. I still believe all of them devote their all to their craft, but the logistics takes it's toll.

The best news today was being informed I may no longer need dialysis.
That, really made me happy.

@Lustig Andrei,
I had my second chemo today, and not even embarrassing from my American heritage is that I have become an expert at pulling up my hospital gown as quickly as a woman. Mr. Green

Last time I was in a hospital, there was no need to lift it. It was totally accessible from the rear.

@FBM,
Sorry, I failed to explain that I'm double gowned to cover my backside for walking the hallways. I try to walk as often as possible for several important reasons; to bring back strength to heart, lungs, and legs. I'm still skin and bones. I hate it!
