A Boston Gathering is afloat for the week before July 3rd and/or the week after July 10th. Joanne Dorel will be in the area for some time and wanted to meet up with the local yokles.
We could take her out on my friend's boat in Newburyport. We could have an outing in the city. We could road-trip out to western MA to visit her there. Any other suggestions are, of course, welcome. Let's start planning!

There are, but it's crowded (I tend to avoid the whole thing). I'm not sure if JD wants to get into Boston proper.

Eek, hmm, my parents are coming up for the 4th, so Reg and I may or may not be available, depends on the date(s) selected.
Some place cool, with cold drinks, would be lovely (yeah, I'm really specific today). :-D
I will be available after July 11th so that leaves the 4th out. Where ever is most convenient for all of you is where I can be.
I well get a Boston Globe today if I can at Borders.
P.S. Everyone is setting down I hope. It is presto chango again for me. I am now in San Diego, CA. And it is a surprise to me too. Oh well makes life interesting doesn't.
I just checked out the website of the boat littlek mentioned. It looks like it would be a lot of fun to sail on. Assuming, of course, you enjoy sailing.
