Hi all,
I’ve included most of the SEO package and it all seems to be working fine apart from one little thing! I can’t get the mod_rewrite part to correctly format the ‘Pagination’ for viewtopic. I’m getting URL’s like this: (http://mysite.whatever/forum/about329.html&postdays=0&postorder=asc&&start=15)
Has anybody got a fix for this?

Here are the main parts of the code IÂ’m using:
page_header.php code
Code:if ( !$userdata['session_logged_in'] )
{
ob_start();
function replace_for_mod_rewrite(&$s)
{
$urlin =
array(
"'(?<!/)viewforum.php\?f=([0-9]*)&topicdays=([0-9]*)&start=([0-9]*)'",
"'(?<!/)viewforum.php\?f=([0-9]*)&mark=topics'",
"'(?<!/)viewtopic.php\?t=([0-9]*)&watch=topic*'",
"'(?<!/)viewtopic.php\?t=([0-9]*)&unwatch=topic*'",
"'(?<!/)viewtopic.php\?t=([0-9]*)&highlight=*'",
"'(?<!/)viewforum.php\?f=([0-9]*)'",
"'(?<!/)viewtopic.php\?t=([0-9]*)&view=previous'",
"'(?<!/)viewtopic.php\?t=([0-9]*)&view=next'",
"'(?<!/)viewtopic.php\?t=([0-9]*)&postdays=([0-9]*)&postorder=([a-zA-Z]*)&vote=viewresult'",
"'(?<!/)viewtopic.php\?t=([0-9]*)&postdays=([0-9]*)&postorder=([a-zA-Z]*)&start=([0-9]*)'",
"'(?<!/)viewtopic.php\?t=([0-9]*)&start=([0-9]*)&postdays=([0-9]*)&postorder=([a-zA-Z]*)&highlight=([a-zA-Z0-9]*)'",
"'(?<!/)viewtopic.php\?t=([0-9]*)&start=([0-9]*)'",
"'(?<!/)viewtopic.php\?t=([0-9]*)'",
"'(?<!/)viewtopic.php&p=([0-9]*)'",
"'(?<!/)viewtopic.php\?p=([0-9]*)'",
);
$urlout = array(
"topic-\\1-\\2-\\3.html",
"mark-forum\\1.html",
"updates-topic\\1.html",
"stop-updates-topic\\1.html",
"about\\1.html&highlight=\\2",
"forum-\\1.html",
"ptopic\\1.html",
"ntopic\\1.html",
"view-poll\\1-\\2-\\3.html",
"about\\1-\\2-\\3-\\4.html",
"about\\1.html",
"about\\1-\\2.html",
"about\\1.html",
"post-\\1.html",
"post-\\1.html",
);
$s = preg_replace($urlin, $urlout, $s);
return $s;
}
}

mod_rewrite code
Code:RewriteEngine On
RewriteRule ^forums.* index.php [L,NC]
RewriteRule ^post-([0-9]*).html&highlight=([a-zA-Z0-9]*) viewtopic.php?p=$1&highlight=$2 [L,NC]

I looked at your site and saw no pagination at all.

But the pagination does, in fact, work. Test it on this board.

Whatever your problem is, it is due to code from your previous mods.

Hi Craven
I hid the pagination so it didnÂ’t confuse visitors. Is there a part of the code I posted above that I could hack out? I donÂ’t mind if some of the URLÂ’s are not rewritten but I do feel the guest visitors need the pagination. I have tried taking a few line of code out but I canÂ’t figure out which lines relate to the pagination.

I suppose worst-case scenario I could just take the mod_rewrite hack out.

Patrick,

Like I said, the code I released in my mod does in fact work perfectly with pagination. I did not audit the code you posted but if it is from my mod it should work.

If it does not work you have some code that is conflicting with it.
