Mr S,

That's a sketch of, Sam Vimes, one of my favorite characters from Terry Pratchett's disk world books. I have a lot in common with Sam Vimes and tend to think of him as my alter-ego.

Hyp-hyp-hypocrisy, Take the kiddies to see reinactments of real crucifixions as performed by Roman soldiers. Watch your local toy store for the soon to be released action figures complete with swords, lances, scourges, crucifix, crown of thorns and realistic blood. Fun for the whole family. Right! Mad Potter stories and movies beat the Passion hands down.

Sam

You've got to be kidding me! People are fretting over the age group appropriate for Harry Potter #3 but parents were purposely encouraged by churches and chain emails to take their kids to the R rated sado masochistic pornography of violence called The Passion?

Well, I'm guessing that not many people in Australia were taking their kids to see The Passion. It's only the wing-nuts in the US who thought that was a good idea.
