Art of Winston Churchill and Adolph Hitler

Just read a Newsweek piece about the art of Churchill and Hitler being sold...or not sold...and thought I would take a look at the artwork myself.

I've seen much of this stuff before, but always worth a second look.

Churchill gets pretty good marks...Hitler not very good at all. But artwork, like beauty, is in the eye's of the beholder...so you each have to make up your mind for yourself. Obviously, there is a lot baggage involved.

(First three by Hitler...last four by Churchill.)

I like Churchills painting of the bottles and glasses.

With some work, it could evoke deep emotions.

That still life is probably my favorite of the group, Chai.

@Frank Apisa,
3000 drawings and paintings by Hitler versus 500 by Churchill.

Why did you change the spelling of Hitler's first name, btw?

@Frank Apisa,
I think it's called "Bedside table, Blenheim".

Ouch, Walter...my mistake. It should be Adolf.

I spelled Barack Obama's name Barak in my early posts.

My screw up. Sorry.
