"A report in the New York Post (dated October 9 1980, early editions only) called Anne Frank may not have inked that famous diary says that the German Federal Criminal Investigation Bureau (BKA) examined the diary and concluded that portions of the work were written with a ball pen, only available from 1951."

@Rickoshay75,
Just stop. Do you know whether an article from a 34 years ago NY Post be a credible source?

Also how would you explain this fact? "Otto Frank, the only survivor of the family, returned to Amsterdam after the war to find that Anne's diary had been saved, and his efforts led to its publication in 1947. "

If it was published back in 1947, how could anything allegedly be added to after 1951?

@Ragman,
The ballpoint pen was being produced from the early years of the 20th century, although most were crap.

If you're talking biro, then they were probably around from 1945, possibly earlier.

I've seen the house where Biro lived in Hungary. It was very near (next door maybe, if memory serves) to a memorial museum dedicated to the ghetto district in Budapest, a district created by the Nazis to corrall the Jews before their transportation to the death camps.
The museum was funded by Tony Curtis, whose family were among those transported.

The pictures and artifacts inside that museum fair turned my stomach. It confirmed in my mind that the Nazis were nothing but murdering bastards who needed stopping, whatever the cost.

This thread, if I interpret the author's motivation correctly, unfortunately proves that that twisted mindset is still alive and well.

@Rickoshay75,
Here's more rebuttal for Holocaust deniers:

"Anne Frank's story has become symbolic of the scale of Nazi atrocities during the war, a stark example of Jewish persecution under Adolf Hitler, and a dire warning of the consequences of persecution. However, there have been many claims that Anne Frank's diary was fabricated. Holocaust deniers such as Robert Faurisson have claimed that the diary is a forgery, though critical and forensic studies of the text and the original manuscript have supported its authenticity.

In his will, Otto Frank bequeathed his daughter's original manuscripts to the Netherlands Institute for War Documentation. After his death in 1980, the Institute commissioned a forensic study of the manuscripts. The material composition of the original notebooks and of the ink and handwriting found within them and the loose version were extensively examined. In 1986, the results were published; the handwriting was positively matched with contemporary samples of Anne Frank's handwriting and the paper, ink and glue found in the diaries and loose papers were consistent with materials available in Amsterdam during the period in which the diary was written."
