Not sure what you are hearing, but this is a song by Madonna, below are the lyrics, just as the girl in the video is singing them. There's no french in there, a few spanish words, and the song is titled "La Isla Bonita" and it uses the phrase "My Spanish lullaby" several times.

Where exactly are you hearing French spoken? There's no French in there.

I actually timed my opening post so that he'd see it, but I get the idea he's as tired of the Great Christmas Debate as the rest of you guys.

'Twas a ploy to get the English speakers here into another argument like the Great Christmas Debate this time last year, hence the part deux reference.
It seems to indicate that Koiyo was either working on his own initiative in this, or he was setting it all up for the main protagonist from last year to make a heroic entrance around page three and convince us that everything in the world is French or originates from France.

Alas, Koiyo seems to have chucked the pin at us, instead of the grenade.

I was completely unaware of that episode from last year--for which i am gratified.
