What languages should be taught in American schools?

English people praise my english pronunciation often and i got it over the years by watching movies in English and hearing english radio programs... sometimes I just begin talking to myself in English to practice my pronunciation or repeated what it was said on tv or radio programs absentmindedly .... i forgot a lot of gramatical rules and lack of certain subject vocabulary nowadays but i´ve improved my speaking considerably

I think it really depends in which field you are interested! If you're interested in philosophy you should learn greek, german and french! If you're interested in economics maybe some asian language or also eastern european languages!
