C.P Batites? 1933 Oil Painting

Hello All:

I recently purchased this oil painting and I am unable to find the artist. I can't tell if the last name is Batites or Barites or something completely different.

Its signed - C.P. Batites. 33. and the framing/back seems to be quite old, so I am guessing its from 1933. (I have a school certificate from 1924, and the backing/condition looks similar)

If anyone can help me out, Itll be much appreciated!

Will you show the ENTIRE name? the right side is cut off.

Looks like Barnes to me.

The images didnt post correctly. Ill post a better image here shortly. I was thinking Barnes as well.
