Yeah. Kind of like OCD. Why do they call it a disorder? Anyhow, they ought to call it CDO if they insist on calling it a disorder.

Much of Japan is. Many homes in Japan don't have heat in the bedrooms despite being in areas where it drops below freezing. This was an intentional decision made largely to save energy which is far more expensive there. To keep comfy, these folks use hot water bottles in their beds, which are available in more varied designs than in the US.

Hi, you are definitely not alone. I'm totally addicted to my hot water bottle that even in summer I have to take it to bed. I can't sleep without it not even for a single night. I did try once and I had a wired pain in my stomach and I had to get up in the middle of the night to get myself my hottie. Sometimes I change the water twice a night to keep me going. Even during the day if I have a nap I have to have my hottie on my stomach to help me sleep.

No worse than my pillow addiction. I need no less than three to sleep well.
