If great Hollywood classiscs were to be re-made today, employing services to this days actors and actresses, who would you chose if you were heading a major Hollywood studio for major roles or to play the lead in movies such as:-
1. Gone With The Wind
2. Citizen Kane
3. Cat on a Hot Tin Roof
4. Bridge on River Kwai
5. Ben-Hur
6. The Ten Commandments
7. The Towering Inferno
8. Love Story
9. The Graduate
You can add to the list and pl. mention, which particular roles cannot be revived by today's crop of Brad Pitts, Tom Cruises, Kate Winslets, Nicole Kidmans.......

I don't see anyone reviving Marlon Brando's Don Corleone of 'The Godfather' and Jack Nicholson's fantastic performance in 'One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest'.
