I have almost a full head of bleach blonde highlights for the most part some parts are darker than others, I naturally have dark brown hair. My mom is a hair dresser and we are trying to work on dying my entire head blonde so I can just do my roots a lot easier. When we use a 40 V peroxide with a color my hair still turns a gold orange color because its naturally so dark. Any ideas on how to slowly work my way to full blonde?

I'd suggest (I'm no expert, BTW) going with an ash shade. I think your hair is picking up red in what I'm guessing is a golden shade and that's coming out brassy. Since your mother is a hairdresser, why doesn't she ask around where she works, or where she went to school?
