Most of people at the scene have noticed the upcoming/impending disaster.
Which one would be more suitable for this sentence

Most of people at the scene have noticed the upcoming/impending disaster.

Use either word.

But - your sentence is not correct. "impending' means to happen in the future. So the people had no idea the disaster was coming.

I think you mean:

Most of the people at the scene had no notice of the impending disaster.

No.... How about " the people at the scene have predicted the upcoming disaster".
Now u can understand it much clearly ?
