sometimes .i feel confused about the usage between "for" and " to"
can i also write this sentence like " He has chosen this cloth to draw the attention in that party.
can u native speaker use 100% correct when it is about "to"and "for".

"for" has the idea of for someone or something's benefit; for their advantage.
"to" doesn't carry that idea at all.

Con it's a bit awkward but otherwise I can't see anything wrong with it
I think it means attracting the attention of participants in a certain festivity
