Facebook banned me from commenting

I don't know why I got blocked/reported. It's been almost half a year and I still cannot comment or like any comments on public pages. I thought blocks were supposed to last a few hours or days? I have reported this as a mistake to Facebook but nothing is happening. What should I do?
