i need to know the name of this movie please

Hi i watched this movie with my husband not long ago. but we can not recall the title. The movie is about two brothers. im not sure if one dies or goes into a coma the point is the other brother tries to steal his other brothers wife. He makes her think that the brother lives in him. He tricks her useing these journals he finds. Please let me know if you know the title thanks in advanced > Have a great day
