I typically email a schedule of the games to Rhys and he sends me a reply indicating his picks along with some comments.
I kind of fell down (ha) on my end of the routine. I took a tumble Saturday afternoon and bent one of my antennae - and twisted my back and wrist.
I didn't get anything off to him until this afternoon. He hasn't replied but I am 100% sure that he will be going for the New England Patriots and I am 100% certain that he will be choosing against the New York Jets.

Durn it, realjohnboy. Be careful. We got a lot of games left to play.

@realjohnboy,
I can verify that Rhys is picking Patriots tonight.
In other breaking news, Thanksgiving will fall on a Thursday this year.

@realjohnboy,
Hope you're feeling better soon.
Leave the tumbling routines to the kiddos.

Pats just scored a TD on NY Jets in the first 90 seconds of the game. Yikes!

Jeez ...way too close. What a stroke of luck Pats won this one over Jets with a blocked FG (58 yd) at the ver-r-r-r-y end of the game. Jets team played well enough to steal that one from 'em. They just ran out of luck. Whew!

@Ragman,
Does this NE team get past the first game in the playoffs (assuming they make them)?

@Finn dAbuzz,
I'm optimistic they'll make some adjustments over the rest of the season; however, their defense, particularly on the run, is holier than Swiss cheese - especially with Jarod Mayo being gone for the season (or longer). He underwent surgery today for patella tendon repair.

Their improvement on offense is great but it has to be tempered with the reality that playing against good balanced teams in the playoffs, they'll be very vulnerable. Next week they face Chicago Bears, hardly a top team, though they're dangerous.
