@Ragman,
Yeah. I've read about Snyder, oh, and the general team difficulties, off and on, including Shanahans, and Griffin, whom I've liked, mostly, but who seems to have bad stars in the sky. This all begins to blur.

I agree with changing the name in this case... but that's me.
What native americans (all or part) think about it is what I had been wondering about, thus my being divided, as what I've read is that there are divisions on that.

I'm not sure though that every reference to ethnicity is unethical or immoral, as old fan of the fighting irish who has irish heritage; there are probably countless usages of ethnic names all over u.s. culture. Don't remember when that started at Notre Dame, but probably well within the time the irish here were heavily looked down on.

My emails are cluttered up today with a flurry of long ones with lots of words like "whereas" and...
I may have missed picks from Rhys.

@ossobuco,
Quote:
The National Football League takes in more than $9.5 billion per year and is exempt from Federal taxes.
As a nonprofit, it earns more than the Y, the Red Cross, Goodwill, the Salvation Army or Catholic Charities – yet it stands as one of the greatest profit-generating commercial advertising, entertainment and media enterprises ever created.

Simple solution. Pay Snyder 50 million for lost revenue in a name change.
Voila. Problem solved.

NYG @ Wash is listed as a tossup: 9-10 is the split amongst us.
I'm going to bed early.

@panzade,
The Gints mashed those spuds. Pick with your mind (or heart) not your stomach. Wink

@Finn dAbuzz,
After this game, I can't make any conclusions about either team. No idea if Giants were that good or Wash Wussies are that bad. Clearly, Cousins shouldn't be their QB. Oh, and they better look around their 3rd-string QB 'cause RGIII is still not recovered.

In this week's picking process my thinking was foggy about Giants. I'll hold off calling them dead and/or without heart.

I was impressed with the Giants last week, too. But I expected them to have a down week, last night. Hmm.
