Lord Ganesh is one of the most worshiped deities by people in all over the India. He is the lord of Knowledge and is worshiped before starting any new business or puja occasions. Ganesh Jayanti is celebrated as the birthday of Lord Ganesh. This festival last for 10 days. During this time people establish Ganesha on their home or business place. On this day Ganesha Jayanti Puja is done and special offerings are made which brings lots of good fortune, success and wealth in our life. It is also said that worshiping him will remove all the suffering and problems from one`s life.

So, why isn't this Puja listed in my dictionary? Must I suffer endlessly trying to find Mr. Puja?

Wonderful as this sounds, why are problems and suffering still so prominent in India?

People aren't praying hard enough, or giving the priests enough money.
(Same as any religion.)

What of war, poverty and famine? do none of the people in these areas of India worship? Are there no worshippers dying of cancer or disease?

Sorry Beth, not an intentional twist, I made the unfortunate assumption that he was making the claim. That'll teach me to read more closely.
