@Linkat,
All you guys are right...

do you guys think that it is too soon to make this decision after 5months living together?

@TyrionGuy,
Just put it to you this way -- I am ready to sing Let it Go -- and no one wants me to sing!

It doesn't matter what we think.

Do you want to exit a bad relationship after 6 years, or do you want to live with it X amount of time and exit it at 7 years, or 8, 9 etc?

I've listened to other people come on here saying they are miserable, but don't want to leave because they've invested all this time. My thought why do you want to invest more of anything in a something that gone bankrupt?

@TyrionGuy,
I said it above --- I think you already know the answer --- perhaps you just need permission or acknowledgeable or a kick in the butt?

Good luck and believe me you will feel a huge sense of relief afterwards -- perhaps a bit sad but definately relief.

@Linkat,
She may feel some relief, too. It's usually a lot better than being in a relationship that's on life support.

I'm thinking the same thing. If she's stubborn too, all this "when we get married" might be her trying to convince herself to keep soldiering on. She might not admit it, but this relationship can't be fun for her either.

@TyrionGuy,
In any case TG.
Yours has been one of the most pleasant advice threads to appear in a long while.
You've got your feces together and I'm sure things will work out.
Send us a postcard, won't you?

I want this painted on the side of our tour van.

PS TG - you'll be fine. I have every such confidence.
